ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Robert is an award-winning author of over a thousand published articles and short stories. He is currently a contributing editor for New Man magazine. His work has appeared in Reader's Digest, Travel & Leisure, Modern Bride, Consumers Digest, Chief Executive, and The Arizona Daily Star, among other publications. In addition, he previously worked as a celebrity journalist, interviewing Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Charlton Heston, and others for magazines such as Rocky Road, Preview, and L.A. Weekly.
Robert is an avid scuba diver, swimmer, reader, traveler, and a law enforcement and military enthusiast. He lives in Colorado with his wife and four children.
Robert's first novel painted a scenario so frighteningly real that six Hollywood producers were bidding on movie rights before the novel was completed. His acclaimed debut novel, Comes A Horseman, is being made into a major motion picture by producer Mace Neufeld and his short story "Kill Zone" was featured in the anthology Thriller, edited by James Patterson.

MY REVIEW: Robert Liparulo has delivered two amazing thrillers for teens as well as adults! From the first page he draws you into the action. This book, House of Dark Shadows, is somewhat reminiscent of House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti. There is a house, with secrets, with rooms that suck you in and don't want to let you go. Will this family figure out how to beat the spooky workings of the house, or will they be trapped forever, unknown to anyone but themselves where they have gone? Book two, Watcher in the Woods, picks up immediately where book 1 left off. Mom is missing and they have to find her. The action never stops, they go from one adventure to another. And when the thrills get to be too much, they can go to the clearing in the forest, it does strange things, and will make you feel happier again, for awhile at least, to get a break. Hang on, these books will draw you into the action and make you feel like you are right there with Xander, David, Toria, Dad and Mom. Don't let go or you will miss these amazing books, House of Dark Shadows and Watcher in the Woods by Robert Liparulo.
